Chocolate For Your
Diet?
|
Chocolate
happens to be my favorite food. So, avoiding chocolate
during a diet really torture me. Really! That’s why I
wrote this article to share the facts about how
chocolate can still be included in your snack list
during your diet program, so that you can still enjoy
your favorite food while working hard to lose your
weight.

Chocolate is one of
healthy foods that have a lot of healthy benefits for your body.
Flavonoid
is an antioxidant that can help you in anti aging, thanks to its
free radical content. Other than that antioxidant can reduce the
risk of heart disease. Flavonoid can also balance hormone, help
lowering blood pressure and LDL cholesterol by up to 10%.

When you get stressed,
chocolate is the best food you can eat, as it can stimulate
endorphin production which gives you a pleasure feeling and pain
relieve.
Lactium,
which is contained in chocolate, can also act as a stress
relieve.
Last but not least, chocolate also contains
probiotics,
vitamins B1, B2, D, E, and also several minerals such as
potassium
and
magnesium.
Probiotics in chocolate
provides you a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle.
Chocolate For Diet
Chocolate can still be your food choice even when you are on a
diet program. However, you must limit the daily total calories
you take. If you want to do a 1500-1600 calories a day diet for
example, eat approx. 125 calories of chocolate. For your info, a
bar of dark chocolate contains 400 calories. You can eat ¼ bar a
day, or if you want to have some more, you can reduce the intake
of other sweet foods (cakes, candy, etc.) so that the total
calories which you intake would still be the same.
Plain dark chocolate is the best chocolate for diet, as it
contains only natural sugar, no additional sweetener, and 70% of
the content is cocoa. Chocolate with fruit filling is still OK.
On the other hand, chocolate or dark chocolate with caramel or
nougat are the kinds of chocolate you should avoid when you are
in a hard diet.
Have you heard about
chocolate diet? This seems to be quite a nice diet, especially
for you who loves chocolate. Chocolate diet mainly consists of
liquids (powder shake) which is given to be blended with milk or
water as a snack. |

In fact, chocolate diet is just emphasizing that diet is
not supposed to be a burden, by eating less or by avoiding your
favorite foods. You can have a diet AND eat foods that you love
at the same time, as long as you can control the quantity of
calories intake.
Besides having your diet in control, support it with exercise.
No diet will succeed without exercise, as exercise will help
your muscles to burn fat. Same as diet, choose
fun exercise
that you can really enjoy. If you like sport, choose tennis or
swimming. If you like music and dancing, aerobics or
belly
dance
could be your choice. Whatever your choice is, exercise is very
good for both your weight loss and for your health. Keep doing
it regularly! |
